CoolSculpting

What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting is a noninvasive body contouring tool available at Colorado Skin Care that uses advanced fat-freezing technology to destroy fat cells under your skin and improve the shape of your body. The innovative technology has the ability to target the fat cells, without harming any other tissue, freeze and destroy them. Your body then eliminates the fat cells from the area leaving you with a slimmer, trimmer look.

The team uses the advanced body contouring tool to treat many areas of concern, including:

  • Abdomen
  • Flanks
  • Under the chin (submental fat)
  • Jowls
  • Back fat
  • Underneath the buttocks
  • Upper arm
  • Thighs

CoolSculpting can reduce fat thickness by as much as 25% after one treatment in the desired area.

Am I a good candidate for CoolSculpting?

The experts at Colorado Skin Care determine if you’re a good candidate for CoolSculpting during a consultation. The tool is effective at reducing the fat on your body, but it isn’t meant to be used for weight loss.

To get the best results from treatment, the team recommends you be at or close to your goal weight and have a body mass index of 30 or less. The team also takes into consideration your diet and exercise habits, which are important for helping you maintain your results.

What happens during CoolSculpting treatments?

Your CoolSculpting treatments are conducted at the office. The length of your session may depend on the area undergoing treatment, but some areas can take as little as 35 minutes.

During treatment, your provider places the CoolSculpting applicator to the treatment area. You may feel a suctionlike sensation, followed by the signature cooling. You may also experience some pinching, cramping, tugging, tingling, or stinging up until the area goes numb.

Once you’ve completed your treatment, your provider massages the area to restore blood flow, and you can return to your usual day.

Do I need more than one CoolSculpting treatment?

The team at Colorado Skin Care determines the number of CoolSculpting treatments you need based on your aesthetic goals and the areas of your body you’re having sculpted.

You should notice an improvement in your shape within one to three months of your sessions and reach maximum results by six months.
