About Amy Huber PA-C

Amy J. Huber, PA-C, has over 17 years of experience as a physician assistant in Colorado Skin Care in Englewood, Colorado. Amy has a keen interest in dermatological surgery and has undergone additional training and certification in several surgical procedures, such as ambulatory phlebectomy.

She entered the field after graduating from Saint Louis University in 1995, where she completed her medical training. After spending three years working with a prominent Mohs surgeon in Iowa and practicing general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, she and her husband returned to Colorado to be near family. 

Amy has acted as a sub-investigator on numerous clinical trials and continues to have an interest in research. She regularly attends the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology and accumulates over 50 hours of continuing medical education per year. Amy recently passed national recertifying exams in both medicine and surgery, as PAs are required to do so every six years to maintain licensure. Amy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), becoming one of the original 150 members of PAs in dermatology in the latter. She became an SDPA diplomate in 2012, which required 100 additional hours of dermatology medical education. 

Her other interests include spending time with her husband and three young children, biking, hiking, and enjoying time outdoors.
